el otro día vi un video en youtube de les claypool tocando no me acuerdo que canción, algo de los beatles, o una cosa por estilo. me pareció que ocupaba el segundo lugar en el podio de bajistas con mal gusto. después de billy sheehan. sheehan es una muestra de todo lo que no hay que hacer cuando se tiene técnica.

si es lo de claypool, simplemente me parece muy feo lo que hace él con el bajo. no me gusta el slap. prefiero toda la vida ésto: bueno, no encuentro ningún video bueno con james jamerson, pero prefiero toda la vida a jamerson. creo que es lo mejor que se puede hacer con un bajo. igual a claypool no lo tengo muy escuchado, hablo por el videito ese que ví que no me acuerdo qué era.

acá tenés a un muchacho tocando la base de jamerson de what's going on, la primera parte. eso es ser bajista. (jamerson, no el que toca en el video). además eso jamerson lo improvisaba en el estudio. llegaba borracho a grabar y empezaban a tocar y le salía eso.

que estás diciendo, que todos los bajistas deberían tocar como jamerson?
Claypool toca bien y punto. Es verdad que mete bastante chapuzas, pero es rock, y se la re banca.
